Michael Norwood - Biography

Michael Norwood is the owner of Golden Gate Apparel, Inc., which features the brand Paradiso and Paradiso Sport. Prior to Golden Gate Apparel, Michael spent two decades in the software industry helping to improve the efficiencies of many leading retail manufactures including Levi Strauss, Gap, Mervyn's, Nike, Nordstrom, Sear's, Target, and Wal-Mart just to name a few. This experience would prove invaluable as he moved directly into apparel manufacturing. He cares deeply about making people feel good about wearing his creations, and stresses that no two women will look the same in his silhouettes. Mike attributes most of his inspirations and ideas to Bali, Indonesia.

Mike graduated from the University of Southern California, and lives with his wife and four children in the San Francisco Bay Area.
